Abstract
The interactive simulations as a communication medium using AgentSheets is investigated. An overview of the AgentSheets simulation construction tool, which lets end users build their own simcity-like interactive simulations and export those simulations as Java applets or JavaBeans to the Web is presented. This system is used by user communities ranging from elementary school kids simulating food webs, to NASA scientists simulating E. coli bacteria in microgravity experiments, replicating the experiments aboard the Discovery space shuttle.
