Abstract

The architecture is the backbone of Intelligent Robotic System (IRS). Aimed at the current difficulties for designing architecture, on the basis of previous studies, the evaluation methodologies based on comprehensive integration is provided and then the systematical evaluation criterions including nine quality attributes (Modularity, Niche Targetability, Autonomy, Robustness, Portability, Coordinability, Real-time, Security, Cost and resource constraint) are presented in this paper. Finally, a case study has shown these methods combined of qualitative and quantitative are feasible. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
