Abstract

The broadband wireless access based on the IEEE 802.16 standard known like WiMAX, is a technology promise to provide services in next generation wireless systems with high transmission rates and quality of service (QoS), this standard use a control access connection oriented (MAC), and define some QoS schemes. In this paper we show some scheduling algorithms such as Round Robin (RR) and Defic Round Robin (DRR) and its future implementation in WiMAX networks. ©2010 IEEE.
