Abstract

Breznitz "acceleration phenomenon" maintains that dyslexic and regular readers can better decode and comprehend written materials if forced to read faster by external manipulation (for a review see Breznitz, 2006). Based on the phenomenon a computerized training program, the Reading Acceleration Program (RAP) was developed. Its impact on eye movement was examined in this study.
