Factor 10 - The changing landscape of learning

Abstract

A Factor 10 increase in the productivity of natural resource requires transformations in the way we all learn, work and play. Its central goal highlights the importance of individual accountability - the cause and effect of our day-to-day decisions about what material and energy we choose to buy, use and waste. These changing perspectives on utility are explored in this paper through a learning process aimed at encouraging the generation of more sustainable products, processes, messages and systems. The components of this pedagogical approach are described alongside learning outputs that aim to move us closer toward Factor 10 living.
