Forecasting Future Technology

Abstract

The article discusses two reports by the National Research Council of the U.S. on forecasting technologies to establish disruptive innovation. As stated, there is a need to refine the strategy for predicting technologies as the innovations influence the government policy and people. As mentioned, the TechCast forecasting system helps in innovation technology in various sectors including medicine, transportation, e-commerce and information technology.
