Abstract

In this discussion, background data on the geologic framework of lower Cook Inlet are presented in this order: (1) stratigraphy, (2) interpreted seismic horizons, (3) velocity data. These data then are merged to show basin configuration and structural trends. The concluding discussion reconstructs the geologic history and explores the petroleum potential of the province.
