Abstract

These guidelines, designed for staff employed in mental health settings, aim to: 1. Increase awareness and understanding of the complexity of interpreting in mental health settings; 2. Outline the knowledge and practical skills required to work effectively with interpreters and clients; and 3. Provide links to additional information and resources to assist in working with interpreters in mental health settings.
