Abstract
The literature on corticosteroid binding globulin (transcortin) in the human is reviewed under the following headings: physicochemical properties, biosynthesis, measurement, and physiological, pharmacological and pathological variations with particular emphasis of the effects of pregnancy and oral contraceptives.
