Abstract

Unexpected events may cause some disruptions in the supply chain system. While unexpected events on the coordinated operation of the supply chain have increasingly influenced, existing research literature on the supply chain is in a stationary environment. Based on the modelling of supply chain system and the unexpected events, we give communication mechanisms of an unexpected event in the supply chain, and through two different distribution to simulate the uncertainty unexpected event impact on the supply chain. From the perspective of supply chain risk management, we provide the inspiration for the manager. © 2007 IEEE.
