Abstract
Process modelling languages normally emphasize a specific perspective, such as Input-Process-Output (IPO), Language Action (LA), or role interaction. In this paper we present an approach for the integration of actor and role modelling with traditional conceptual modelling languages for data, process, and rule modelling to be able to support these perspectives in an integrated manner. The integration of the languages has been developed through several case-studies, and is partly supported by a set of modelling tools. As illustrated in the case study, the modelling languages have a high expressiveness, being appropriate for the modelling of many different kinds of processes. Due to the integrated nature of the languages, this is achieved without burdening the users of the languages unnecessary, achieving a good balance between domain appropriateness and comprehensibility appropriateness.
