Abstract
The International Accounting Standards Board (Board) is the standard-setting body of the IFRS ® Foundation (Foundation). Appointed, overseen and funded by the Foundation, the Board has complete responsibility for technical matters, including the preparation and issuing of IFRS Standards. The Trustees of the IFRS Foundation (Trustees) are responsible for governance and oversight. The IFRS Foundation Monitoring Board provides a formal link between the Trustees and public authorities in order to enhance the public accountability of the Foundation.
