Abstract
Morphodynamic modeling involves fluid dynamics, geodynamics and ecodynamics with and without human interaction. Scales are immense, whether the dimensions are time or space. Morphodynamic models are ever increasing in the processes they incorporate, and in their dimensionality. Challenges facing the morphodynamic modeling community include: upscaling, process coupling, model coupling, data systems, high-performance computing, and model testing.
