Abstract
This issue of the journal contains 43 papers on the preparation of nuclear targets. Topics discussed include a historical outline of the development of nuclear targetry, electromagnetic isotope separation; isotope separation by gas centrifuging; heavy ion targets; radioactive targets; target preparation; neutron targets; stripper foils; target investigation and chracterization; and applications of isotope and thin film preparation. All papers are indexed and abstracted separately.
