Abstract
The CERT Coordination Center has been observing intruderactivity since 1988. Much has changed since then, from our technologyto the makeup of the Internet user community, to attack techniques. Inthis paper, we give a brief overview of recent trends that affect theability of organizations (and individuals) to use the Internet safely.
