Abstract

A coordinated worm network (CWN) is a worm network in which all the worm agents are organized together and can communicate with each other, so that these independent worm agents can collectively decide on a set of activities to be executed. We mainly explore the applications of CWNs in distributed computing, content distribution and collaboration by relevant examples. The construction of CWNs is also discussed, and super-peer architectures are considered to be more suitable for CWNs since they can resist node churning, limit network traffic and block tracing to a certain extent. © 2008 IEEE.
