Abstract
Although authoritative decisions may be faster, participatory decisions may be implemented better. When members are involved in decion making they will be more eager to implement the changes, thus reducing resistance to change (Watson 1971), it may ncrease the naumber of new ideas (Maier 1970), and increase information gathering and processing capability fo the organizztion (Duncan, 1973).
