Abstract

Polyethylene glycol oleate is prepd. by mixing oleic acid with polyethylene glycol (PEG) at a molar ratio of 1:1-4, allowing to react in the presence of solid super acid as catalyst (0.05-0.2% of oleic acid wt.) at 100-150 DegC for 4-8 h under refluxing, cooling, filtering, washing the filtrate with alk. water and mild water resp., and distg. to remove water. Cetyl oleate is prepd. by mixing oleic acid with cetyl alc. at a molar ratio of 1:1-3, allowing to react in the presence of solid super acid as catalyst (0.05-0.5% of oleic acid wt.) at 110-160 DegC for 5-8 h under refluxing, cooling, filtering, washing the filtrate with alk. water and mild water resp., and distg. to remove water. The solid super acid, contg. SO42-/ZrO2, SO42-/ZrO2-TiO2, SO42-/ZrO2-La3+ or SO42-/ZrO2 (ZrO2 crystal) is prepd. by soaking ZrO2 carrier into H2SO4 under ultrasonic irradn. for 20-40 min, filtering, and oven drying.
