Abstract

A multimedia object supports methods to manipulate the multimedia data in the object. A method changes not only the state of the object but also QoS of the state. We discuss new equivalent and conflicting relations among methods with respect to QoS, We also discuss a locking scheme for objects based on the QoS relations.
