Abstract
This paper addresses the problem of target radial motion parameter estimation for pulse stepped-frequency (PSF) radar, which can generate a synthetic target range profile. A new estimation method based on burst phase difference (BPD) is presented, and then the fast peak searching of true radial velocity is proposed. Simulation results indicate that this method can perform accurate estimation with efficient computation and good anti-noise performance in real-time processing.
