Research on mobile wireless network planning

Abstract

Wireless network planning is essential to the planning of a mobile system. It is directly related to the quality and effectiveness of the network, and can deeply affect the development of the network. In this paper, a method for mobile wireless network planning is discussed. In the first part of this paper, a procedure for planning and optimizing which is fit to be carried out by computer is given. We can plan and optimize a mobile wireless network by analyzing, computing and modifying the network according to the procedure. In the second part of this paper, we discuss in detail the planning method for mobile wireless network on the basis of the procedure given above. By the means of the method, we can obtain the topology and parameters of the mobile wireless network on the conditions of required traffic, traffic density, coverage and service quality.
