Abstract
Sporadanthus traversii forms a set of scattered clumps, overtopping a rampant growth of Hypolaena lateriflora, and a ground cover of Lycopodium and Utricularia. These swamps have a persistent high water table, and are thus permanently wet. Rainfall is throughout the year, some 50".
