Abstract
The article discusses research about the nature of consciousness. Topics covered include biological processes that may constitute consciousness, the mathematics of consciousness, such as self-reference, feedback loops and paradoxes, and mapping consciousness. Also mentioned is the importance of the brain's processing power in consciousness.
