Abstract

A new voltage mode quadrature oscillator circuit using two differential difference current conveyors (DDCC) as active elements and two grounded capacitors and two resistors is proposed. The proposed circuit based on two active elements requires only twenty two transistors in all, thus providing a simpler solution to quadrature oscillator realization. It also has low active and passive sensitivities. PSPICE simulation using 0.5μm CMOS parameters are given to validate the proposed circuit. © 2011 IEEE.
