Abstract
This paper describes the process of applying the technique of simulation to conventional and renewable energy systems as used to provide the heating, cooling and power needs of a building. Several brief case studies are presented on the use of the ESP-r system to study air conditioning, passive solar, photovoltaic and combined heat and power systems. © 1994.
