Abstract

Knowledge discovery has been proven useful in many areas such as marketing, signal processing and strategic military planning. Many approaches have been implemented to increase the discovered knowledge value and knowledge intelligence. This paper suggests one approach by proposing a cognitive knowledge discovery framework based on cognitive informatics. The discussions in this paper draw parallels between computer science technologies and cognitive science concepts, which involve the correlation between software engineering using decision tree technique and cognitive psychology.
