Abstract
Several researches have identified that concurrency features in concurrent object-oriented languages may interfere with a well-known inheritance mechanism, whether it has been supported or not. In this paper, we reexamine the interference problem in concurrent object-oriented languages based on the actor model, and present a new method for specifying concurrency behaviour of objects to resolve the problem. © 1992.
