Abstract

This paper derives novel formula in the time signal analysis of nonlinear Graetz's circuits, applying the special trans function theory (STFT). This mathematical approach used in the derivation of this formula is rigorous and yields a closed-form solution to the classical problem of solvability to the Graetz's transcendental circuit equation. An identification partial differential equation for the Graetz's circuit's transcendental equation has been applied and analyzed according to the requirements of the STFT. The graphical time signal representation for different magnitudes of the excitation function u(t), confirm the validity and base principle of the STFT to the time signal analysis of Graetz's circuits. © 2003 IEEE.
