Abstract

The growing size of the multiprocessor system increases its vulnerability to component failures. The minimum size of a largest connected component can be regarded as a measure of fault tolerance of the system. This paper evaluates the size of the connected components of the alternating group graph n AN n ( n≥4 ) with a set of faulty processors, and also obtains a kind of restricted connectivity of this structure. ©2009 IEEE.
