Really Simple Syndication (RSS) aggregator is in XML-based formats that allow syndication of lists of hyperlinks which work together that help users decide their links on frequently update digital content. It was formally used for aggregating news headline. Two types of RSS aggregator have been analyzed here, the browser-based RSS tools and the client-based RSS tools. In this research, we survey on the application of RSS among the internet users at Klang Valley on various aspects, such as evaluating the awareness of this technology among the population, the reasons of selecting the types of tools, and the features they mostly-like and the problem faced by users. At the end, we finalized the conclusion and future work for RSS applications. © 2008 IEEE.
