Abstract

Identifies and talks about 4 areas of importance in ubiquitous computing: - implicit interaction - task-based interaction - nomadic information management - adaptable software architecture A number of practical examples of research labs (commercial and academic) conducting research are given. (p.36). Military needs and applications are dealt with also.
