Abstract

Author presents 4-step model of how an individual adopts extremist ideology: (1) identifies some type of undesirable event/condition (Its not right); (2) frame the condition as an injustice (Its not fair); (3) hold a person or group responsible (its your fault); (4) deem the person or group responsible for the injustice as bad (youre evil).
