Vision based parking space classification

Abstract

The problem of Vacant Parking space detection from static images using computer vision based algorithms such as color histogram classification, car feature point detection has been recently proposed by a few researchers. In this project we implement some of the suggested approaches and also use additional techniques such as background subtraction and some improvised methods to classify the state of a parking space.
