Abstract
With the rapid development of computer and communication technology, studying the applications of information technology in education is one of the most important topics of educational research at present. As a major part of society, education is facing a revolutionary change. Traditional "three-centred" (i.e. teacher-centred, classroom-centred, and textbook-centred) teaching mode does not meet the needs of information society. An effective way for solving this problem is to integrate traditional intelligent instruction technology with Web technology and develop Intranet/Internet based intelligent learning environment. In this paper, we present a Web-based intelligent integration learning environment for C programming language and discuss its architecture and implementation. The environment consists of three parts, intelligent integration tutoring system, instructional resource bases, and instructional resource management system. Student-centred adaptive instruction goal is reached via student model-sharing among learning subsystem, exercise subsystem, experiment subsystem, and examination subsystem.
