Abstract

Video communication over wireless network may cause whole-frame loss. To solve the problem, in this paper we proposed a novel whole-frame concealment method. We firstly calculate the optical flow of the previous frame of the lost frame. Then the MV of each pixel in the lost frame is obtained by using the motion information of its previous frame. Finally, with the MVs we can conceal the lost frame pixel by pixel. Experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms the existing methods in JM on both PSNR and visual quality. ©2009 IEEE.
