Abstract
This solo exhibition of Hendersons new performance-orientated work and selected retrospective elements of his practice was an opportunity to present examples of his practice and research and introduce a comprehensive evidence of it in the form of new cross-disciplinary work. The exhibition at Inverleith House, Edinburgh included two performance pieces, a poetry reading, installation and multimedia work, seven sculptures, four drawings, three video pieces, as well as performance documentation of Hendersons work. An accompanying publication (ISBN 1 8 72291 54 6) was published by Inverleith House and contains an essay (2500 words) by Dr David Hopkins (Professor in the History & Theory of Art at University of Glasgow), Who is Kevin Henderson? that focused on Hendersons practice as well as the work within the exhibition.
