Abstract
In this article we describe and introduce the concept of methodography as a complement to existing terminology related to art education, creative processes and methods, and research that occurs through the arts and their experiences. We define the scope of its meaning especially in relation to its practical application, since more than possessing a theoretical character, it is of a phenomenological nature, a process constituted a posteriori by acts that account for both the logos and the pathos that occur when art is taught or learned. The term methodography helps to define the area of Arts Education in the academic context in terms of creative methods. From there, art teachers and students can visibilize and personalize more aspects of their artistic work and knowledge. The methodography, as we shall see, is corporeal, sensitive and experiential in nature and accounts for something intersubjective and interobjective. Throughout the work we present graphic and logical examples and a methodographer that can serve as a starting point for each teacher and student to reflect and design their own creative methodographies together with their teaching or research methodologies, always with the vocation that they are functionally diverse in an educational context that is increasingly prescriptive and less alive.
