Abstract

The article presents information on education in the U.S. and discusses topics including teacher quality in charter schools, variability in teacher quality in charter schools with traditional public schools and extent to which teacher quality indicators associated with teacher effectiveness. Tables on topics including Pearson Correlation matrix for traditional public schools, charter schools and coefficients of variation in teacher quality measurements in Detroit, Michigan region are given.
