Abstract
the existence of textbooks plays an important role in learning activities. Apart from the development of educational technology, textbooks still have their own role in the educational process. In this case, the quality of the textbook also determines the outcome of the learning objectives. This article aims to describe the analysis of the location of Arabic teaching materials for the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level. This type of research is a library research with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data source used is an Arabic book for MTs class VIII published by Yrama Widya in 2016. The results of the analysis show that the quality of the book in general from the material, linguistic, presentation, and graphic aspects is in the good category. Although there are still some shortcomings, it is hoped that it can be considered by teachers and other researchers for the development of further Arabic teaching materials.
