This minireview seeks to provide an in-depth exploration of the synthesis of Schiff bases, specifically focusing on their derivation from 3-aminopropylalkoxysilanes or 3-aminopropylsilatranes. Additionally, the review delves into the utilization of Schiff bases in crafting metal complexes, unraveling their practical significance in various domains.
