Abstract
The main objective of this article is to highlight the importance of the implementation of intervention measures against healthy lifestyles and work in teleworking and the role that they may have through the field of occupational health in the Public health context. It is based on a previous investigation carried out by the Military University Nueva Granada on the characterization of teleworkers of public and private companies in the city of Bogota and in which the dangers were identified in teleworking environments and where the need to develop Healthy lifestyle and work programs in this population as an intervention strategy. To achieve this, the regulations in force in both the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Health were reviewed in order to have a framework for promotion and prevention actions. To expand the support of evidence, a literature review was conducted in scientific search engines on national and international litenrture. selecting academic articles from the last ten years that included the implementation of lifestyle programs as a tool for the prevention of illnesses and accidents at work, ruling out those that included anecdotal experiences without a technical basis or that could not support then claims. It was found that the research carried out and the bibliographic sources consulted agree that healthy lifestyle and work programs should be implemented for the teleworker population, since in most contracting companies there is no control or the tools are not available, necessary to get their teleworkers to put them into practice. This is how by highlighting the importance of separating the family environment from work. performing regular physical activity, balanced eating, respecting sleep schedules, sensitizing teleworkers, companies, health and safety professionals in the work and the entities that promote well-being such as the EPS's. the ARL's and the Family Compensation Funds to promote this implementation from then sphere of intervention.
