Abstract

The new sp. A. chisosum isolated from culms, leaf sheaths and seeds of S. eminens is described and illustrated. It is compared with other endophytes classified in the Albo-lanosa section of the genus Acremonium. Fungal endophytes are also reported from S. lobata, S. robusta and S. viridula.
