Abstract

(Chemical Equation Presented) Various linked unsaturated dicarbonyl compounds were cyclized by dienamine catalysis. Depending on the substrates, alternative pathways were observed, leading to mono- and bicyclic products in high enantiomeric excess. © 2008 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
