Abstract
The article discusses issues related to racism, blacklash politics and public education in the U.S. Topics discussed include the Civil Rights Act of 1866 which expand legal protections to black citizens, the revolution of civil rights in the U.S. struggles between power and resistance over education and school reform to address problems of racial inequality. Other topics include expansion of charter schools in the country.
