Abstract

The objective of this research work was to determine to what extent the service management proposal influences productivity through the application of the 5s methodology in the Messanlab Clinical Laboratory, Tarapoto 2022. In this research, the increase in productivity was evident. for each type of analysis performed. The methodology is given by the literary review of the 5S. This methodology was developed through the use of the Guerchet method, thus achieving a work area of 21.16 m2 in the hematology area of the clinical laboratory. Likewise, an increase in productivity was determined in each type of analysis performed, 6.7 pac/h complete blood count, 2.6 pac/h glycosylated hemoglobin A1C and 2.3 pac/h for the prothrombin analysis. Finally, with all the information analyzed and collected, an analysis of results and discussion was presented, evidencing with data the improvement obtained with the proposal. With the proposed time studies, it was determined that the takt time present in the laboratory was 571.5 s/pac. Finally, it was determined with the economic evaluation that the proposal is viable, the results were NPV of S/8, 397.48, IRR of 7.1% monthly and PRI of 10.01 month.
