Hubungan Persepsi dan Dukungan Istri Terhadap Penggunaan Metode Keluarga Berencana Pria

Abstract

Abstract: In 2019, female Family Planning method users reached 98.3 percent. Meanwhile, male family planning method users are only 2.2 percent. Several factors were identified to influence this, including the wife's perception and support. The aim is to find out whether the perception and support of the wife and the use of family planning in men are related. This research is quantitative correlation and cross sectional. The population is the residents of Kampung KB Mergayu, Bandung, Tulungagung Regency with a total sample of 102 people and using purposive sampling technique. The results were tested by Spearman and there was a relationship between the wife's perception of the male family planning status and the relationship between the wife's support for the male family planning status p value 0.000 for both. The conclusion of the study is that there is a relationship between the perception and support of the wife on the use of family planning in men. Abstrak: Tahun 2019 pengguna metode Keluarga Berencana wanita mencapai 98,3 persen. Sedangkan pengguna metode Keluarga Berencana pria hanya sebesar 2,2 persen. Beberapa faktor yang teridentifikasi mempengaruhi hal ini antara lain persepsi dan dukungan istri. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui apakah persepsi dan dukungan istri serta penggunaan KB pada pria berhubungan. Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasi dan cross sectional. Populasinya adalah adalah warga Kampung KB Desa Mergayu Kecamatan Bandung Kabupaten Tulungagung dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 102 orang dan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasilnya diuji dengan Spearman dan terdapat hubungan antara persepsi istri dengan status KB pria serta adanya hubungan antara dukungan istri terhadap status KB pria p value 0,000 untuk keduanya. Kesimpulan penelitian adalah terdapat hubungan antara persepsi dan dukungan istri terhadap penggunaan KB pada pria.
