Percepciones de los docentes sobre el uso de las TIC en el aula: El caso de la Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo (Ecuador)

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the impact that Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) can have on the teaching-learning processes of higher education institutions (IES), for this case at the Technical University of Babahoyo. A survey was carried out on the teachers contracted and holders with the purpose of investigating their perception in the use of information technologies, as well as the degree of implementation of the same in the Institutions of Higher Education. It was concluded that there are adequate conditions for the use of information and communication technologies in the University and that these have a positive influence on the teaching - learning process.
