Abstract

We investigate singular p-Laplacian equations of the form div (| ∇ u |p - 2 ∇ u) + f (x, u, ∇ u) u- β = 0, x ∈ RN, where 1 < p ≤ N, 0 ≤ β < p - 1, and give a sufficient condition for the equation to have a decaying positive entire solution, by means of a supersolution and a subsolution. © 2007 Elsevier Ltd.
