Abstract
The article reports that implementing a self-inspection/auditing program may be less complicated and intimidating than what environmental health specialists (EHS) think. It says that some EHS professionals in small to mid-sized organizations have reservations about whether to implement an audit and self-inspection program in their facilities although most large organizations appear comfortable implementing a formal and often complex audit program.
