Abstract

RegulonDB isã database that contains the most comprehensive corpus of knowledge of the regulation of transcription initiation of Esc heric hia coli K-12, including data from both classical molecular biologyãnd high-throughput methodologies. Here, we describe biologicalãdvances since our last NAR paper of 2019. We explain the changes to satisfy FAIR requirements. Weãlso presentã full reconstruction of the RegulonDB computational infrastr uct ure, which has significantly impro v ed data storage, retrie vãlãndãccessibilityãnd thus supportsã more intuitiv eãnd user-friendly e xperience. T he integration of graphical tools pro vides clear visual representãtions of genetic regulation datã, facilitãting datã interpretationãnd knowledge integration.
